| I need to transfer a post ban lower receiver to another CT resident who does not have a permit. I called one gun store today and I was told I don't need an FFL holder to do the transfer. Does anyone know if there is a special form I need to use to do this? The gun store owner said I needed some kind of bill of sale. Thanks |

Download the DPS-3-C form from the Dept. Public Safety website & use it as a bill of sale. Just make one copy for you & the buyer. There's no need to send it to the DPS or local police as that is only for pistols. http://www.ct.gov/dps/cwp/view.asp?a=2158&Q=294488&dpsNav=| |
