[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tree removal recommendation

I've got several trees that have gotten too large for my back yard and are a little too close the the house for comfort. I'd guess I probably have about 8-10 trees I'd like removed, of which 2 or 3 are really close to my house and the rest are probably still too big to drop in one piece in my back yard.
Does anyone in the htf work for a tree service or have a recommendation? I'm in west Cobb county near Macland Road.

I live near powder springs rd and east west conn. I had Marietta Tree Service comming to cut down 14 pines on monday the 22nd they seem like pretty good people to me. And the prices were the best of the 3 companies I had come out and qoute!

a good friend of mine runs a crew that does it. I am in Marietta also and had 12 trees taken down, chipped, and removed. very fast and very good. if you don't find a HTF member that does it let me know and I will pass on his info if you would like.
