Can I abbreviate some of that when I get it on the gun?
What's the deal?
EDIT: I googled and found a thread where someone said:
"John Doe Trust
City, State
works just fine"

I have read it can be done this way (leaving off the revocable living part), but I would call the ATF to confirm. Personally I just added Revocable Living. Outside of this the only thing you can abbreviate is the state so you could not do RLT.

Contact your examiner for the final verdict but I ALWAYS engrave my full trust name. I've had both a Form1 and Form 4 kicked back because I did not include the words "Revocable Living" on the paperwork. I thought Mark was gonna kill me.

This problem is why you specify the trust name as XXX Trust in the trust documents.
Instead of XXX Revocable Living Trust engraved it is simply XXX Trust.
