| Hey guys, simple question. Does anyone have a Tucson area FFL they would recommend for simple transfers. I've used Diamondback in the past, but $40 for a transfer seems a little ridiculous to me. Thanks for any help. |

Just want to put this out there for the record... Fuck Diamondback. That is all. Yeah I kind of feel the same way. Bought a few Glocks off them before I got out of the Army and have done a transfer or two through them. They always acted like they were doing me a favor. I would definitely like to move my business to someone that would be a little more deserving. |

Call Steve at Shipman Firearms
Near La Cholla and Ruthrauff Will meet with you late afternoon, early evening. I think his fee is $20.00. [email protected] 520-293-3431 |

Try AZylant Pawn shop near Craycroft and 29th. I've transfered two things there before for $25 I think. Pay in cash, they wanted 3% extra for credit cards. Oh, yes, THIS. Ivan is a good guy. He was a customer of mine for a couple years. I always forget he does guns. |

Usually you are on your own for shipping boxes. Foam cut to the length of the box is the best and most expensive method to pack a rifle. If you use packing peanuts do something to wrap around the muzzle. Barrels have a tendency to work their way through boxes and get severally messed up in the process, not to mention says look there is a gun in this box...STEAL ME!
A few wraps of bubble wrap around the rifle and the airbags seem to do a decent job of getting the rifle there without damage. |
| Go to Gunbroker.com and look in their FFL finder. You can search by Zip so you can find one close to your house. They list their prices and other contact info. That or go to FFLfinder.com, pretty much the same thing. You can find better deals thru private FFL holders than the stores around town. Paying anymore than $20 is throwing your money away. |
