I'll be there and have the motel room reserved for Friday night. After my first time last October and learning from my mistakes, I'm getting there early and making it my one and only Saturday activity in Tulsa.

If anyone's thinking about getting a room, reserve it ASAP because many Tulsa motels hike their prices up over Wanamacher's weekend as it approaches. Also make sure you bring a tote bag or something to hold your "goodies" in since walking back to the car is nearly impossible due to the crowd. The crowd within the Expo Center really isn't so bad due to its immense size, but parking will be a PITA. Take your time, wear very comfortable shoes, and don't be in a hurry.

If you enjoy gun shows and are within driving distance of Tulsa, there's no excuse not to be there this weekend. Enjoy!

I don't really have a "tote" bag per say, but would they trip out over a backpack?

The security folks don't say anything about having a bag.  I always use a small back pack at the different gun shows I attend.  Learned my lesson years back when I bought couple of K's of bullets and had to lug them around for most of the show.

Not sure if I'm going, have retirement dinner to go to in Overland Park not sure what time I'll get back home.

Enjoy the show.
