DC has been added to Texas/US Law Shields list of States that they cover. They are a firearms legal defense program that you subscribe to. They have a lawyer on call 24 hours a day in Texas, and in their Multi-State locations. Over 30 States are covered, VERY affordable, very reliable.
If you ever need to use your firearm, they will DEFEND you free of charge in CRIMINAL AND CIVIL cases. Go to their site to learn more. Skeptics can either google it or move on. I have been very pleased, and have heard no bad reviews by anyone who knows what they're talking about or used them. Good source to have in DC. They also cover VA, Maryland, and other surrounding States. |

I imagine that even after they get the carry laws straightened-out, the DC.gov will still throw the book at people for good shoots. Not too much legal protection that I'm aware of around here for self-defense and the use of force.. unless you're a cop. |

| Law Shield is awesome. I've had them for years, and every time I think I may not know what the laws on on another state or a situation, or whether I should take it, leave it, anything...Call is free, advice is free, peace of mind, I also have a membership card which tells me all the rights to invoke before asking for my lawyer, and to say nothing else. Then you have a lawyer on call...Its a really good feeling knowing you have the legal side of things covered. I would hate to wind up in a scenario when I needed it, have a good shoot, then be butchered in court by legal fees. |
