Those of you that are married out there will feel my pain (i know my bro in law will give me a big hell yeah when he reads this)... I have a limited "gun fund"...its just the way it is....and what it boils down to is this...at the point i am at, if i want to buy something, I got to sell something...which brings me to my dilemna i have the itch for something new... but i like everything i have.... but i have the itch...want something new! what? I dont know, but new, different! Sigh...looks like its time to sell the ***Edited<va-gunnut>*** maybe see if i can turn one of the more expensive guns into two less expensive guns... sigh... i hate this, time to go buy a lottery ticket.... |

Quoted: My fiance gave me a 10 gun limit, and thats only if i can afford them on what i make from the guard (thats my play money). quote] Cbt Engr in the Guard... you must be in the 276th, what company? I was in C company for year after active duty. My BDU's always smelled like the paper mill there in West Point after each drill weekend. Regards, Zip |
| I must have the greatest wife in the world. I come home about a month ago saying that I had and XD-45 on lay-a-way at Degoff's. And that it wouldn't cost a things since I was going to sell some stuff. Low and behold my wife says "you don't have to sell anything if you don't really want to". I about fell over and did the snoopy dance at the same time. |

It's not wrong to sell a gun to buy another. Sometimes our tastes change and we want something different. But gun money should always stay gun money. As far as the gun budget goes, I have $xxx.xx dollars every paycheck that goes into my own checking account. I spend it on whatever I want, no questions asked. |

well...definitely have to sell now...decided to buy a Baer custom TRS.... "Hi honey, how was your day? The kids and I are fine...you look tired, by the way, I just spent a little over 1500 bucks on a gun....no it doesnt cook and clean...sheesh!" Yeah, that didnt go over well

i was in C Co. from sept 20. 2003 - mar 3, 2004, then i went off to basic, got back, got stuck in B Co. till sept 12th when i shipped to the sandbox. i was in 1st plt, B Co. @ Marez. Edit: and now i'm still in B Co. (and oh yeah do i remember that paper mill, though i've heard the towns grown up a bit more now) |
I'll do you one better. I'm single. I could buy a gun tomorrow, and then take a bath in whiskey, and then go to a bar and spend my whole evening there and come back and watch 10 hours of South Park and there's nobody to complain. It's....freedom. |

yeah i am now in a quandry as to what else to sell too now that I jumped the gun and bought the les baer.... i wouldnt ever want to be single again....yeah it sucks having a "gun fund" but i love my wife and kids...an unlimited gun fund doesnt touch what they are worth to me... |
