In the workshop at work just now, engine starts up and a huge screech of tyres.
I go to see thinking that it's one of the drivers being an idiot, only to see the van turning left out of the yard with smoke pouring off the rear inside tyre, coz it's not one of our drivers......it's the fucker that's just nicked it, coz even after repeated warnings...and the track record we've had with thefts since we moved next to the Olympics, the shutter was left up and the keys in the ignition
And east London thieves don't look a gift Transit in the mouth
I'll add that the van is on hire and we don't have a record of the reg no, so still haven't called the plod ( not that that'll do much good) Seems it was No1 idiot that left them there, the same one that took the roller shutter off yesterday with the other Luton Transit we have on hire. What was I saying about getting out of here?

How is that other tard's hand, the one he nearly sliced off with a pressure washer? Still bandaged and gimped
After futilely chasing the stolen va, he came in shouting " who left the fucking keys in the fucking van?" The managed says, " ummm, it was your brother" pwn3d

As I said to the idiots, "we should never have moved here" They are finally agreeing |

I used to live about two or three miles away from the Olympic site (by the river) in Hackney. It's within walking distance of Kingsmead estate, so things will go missing. Many a time we've had a vehicle stolen only to have it recovered on that estate.
The police used to take it quite seriously. Back in the early 90's, a few thieves broke into one of our cars and basically gutted the whole thing with knives, screwdrivers and crowbars. Never seen damage like it since. The police sent forensics over to dust for fingerprints.
Unfortunately they weren't on record, so nobody was caught. |
