I was drawing unemployment. I accepted a job last week.
Is there something I need to change on-line or do I just smiply quit filing? I haven't had time to call DWD yet to find out. |
| Just dont file for that week. The state can tell if you are employed based on the money that your employer is paying into UI. If you get laid off again you just have to go through the same filing process but do not need to sign up again. I spent a lot of last year on Unenjoyment so I know the process pretty well. |

+1 just stop filing.
I was on unemployment and subpay for 1 year and then my unemp ext was up after a total of 14 mos and a few weeks, I finally found a job and then was offered another 20 weeks ext. from unemp. Hang in there, there seems to be more openings every week, even my employer is talking of hiring a few more people..... even though we are basically on no OT and the work load is light.... too light!!! |
