I've accumulated what I believe to be (nearly; everything but a lower receiver) all the parts to complete an AR. I was originally planning to have an acquaintance help me assemble the rifle, but that has fallen through. I live in an apartment, so I don't have access to an adequate workspace nor the tools to build it myself. I was hoping that a kind soul in the Olympia area would be able to help me assemble my upper sometime in the near future; perhaps for a small cash reward? Thanks, -REad |
I've built several ARs without the neccisary tools. You can too. Skim the build it yourself forum and see how easy it actually is. Pick up a no-mar hammer and some punches and you have most of the tools purchased. Does the MUR require a barrel nut? |
Dont do it, these rifles are simple to put into action. Take up the offers of the guys near you. |
Sounds interesting; howmany builds have you done with that setup Kooter? ![]() Bunny- My only problem w/ meeting you up in Lake Stevens, is that it's outta my range, as I'm a hippy who has no drivers license. -REad |
Several lowers and one upper |
It's not the same action block we used for my pistol build, is it? I'll be up there tomorrow evening sometime, but I can't stay too late since I have to work Saturday morning. Crap I forgot about my pistol build. That makes 2 uppers I have put together

Real action block this time. |
