It's hard to believe that we started this family business way back in 1985 but advancing years are taking their toll, so we are making some important changes for 2011. Many of you will know that Dave Wylde (aka Baldy!) has been working as our gunsmith here for several years and has been instrumental in our emergence in the world of centrefire custom rifle building. We are pleased to announce that as from 1st January Dave will be running his own business and offering this work under his own name as Valkyrie Rifles. He will still be based here at our premises but will work independently so all relevant enquiries should go to him. You can contact Dave through his own website at http://www.valkyrierifles.net/ So we have another 'player' - good luck Mr. Baldie. All you have to do now is move to Essex

I,ve actually been self employed for the last 6 years, just sub contracting to various people. My new workship is at the SYSS site, its actually a very large garage converted in 3 separate rooms...a lathe room, a general workshop, and a dedicated spray booth/paintshop.. All custom work will now be undertaken solely by myself, and not syss, also semi custom remmy,s etc, and any day to day general gunsmithing sent to either company, such as screwcutting, mods etc. |
