These basic questions are covered by many sites like handgunlaw.us, FAQs at INGO, and about every month here. I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but if you have to ask about informing LEOs you didn't even look around for the answer.

IN is one of the most free states. No duty to inform, state court precedent that says LEOs can't disarm w/o RAS for officer safety, can carry just about anywhere except courtroom, jails, etc. Signs don't carry the weight of law except in those off-limits places. You can carry in a bar and even drink while doing so (although it's not recommended for obvious reasons). Any other questions?
