I'll be in Scottsdale from July 9-13. The sammich maker has a conference at some resort (I forget the name, but its close to the "stadium course," whatever that means), so I'll have the girls all day (7,5) those days. Besides the pools and other amenities that are supposed to be at this resort, give me some ideas for activities, Additionally, since they have some organized kids activities, I'll have some free time, so I'll take adult oriented suggestions as well (think range time and fun shop, not porn, you sicko's).

Visit The Candy Store at Cave Creek/Union Hills in Phoenix. People come from all over for that. It's like a Phoenix landmark.

See this thread

If you bring one or two of your own toys Rio Salado, Ben Avery, or Phoenix Rod and Club are nice ranges to go shoot at.
Boat rental on some of the big lakes around.
If there isn't frozen yogurt shops in TN you should hit up Yogurt Land.  Sprinkles for cupcakes.  Stax has mini burgers of various meats.  The Lodge is owned by Jared Alan (Vikings lineman) and has comfort foods - cheese curds, onion rings, burgers, mac n cheese.

There are a few water parks in the area.

Drive down to Tucson if you're into military museums.

Rawhide is pretty neat for first timers

Ages of said kids?

In Glendale there is a legit candy store Cerettas (maybe spelling that wrong). You also have Cabelas in Glendale.

"Stadium Course" is most likely TPC Scottsdale
