Me and my daughter are going to be riding the train up to Chicago on Wednesday to stay with some friends for a few days and have some fun. Anyway, it looks like we are going to have a bit of time to kill before my buddy can pick us up at Union Station. Should be early afternoon so I was thinking we would get a bite to eat. Anybody have any recommendations for eats that would be within walking distance of Union Station? My kiddo is only 7 so don't have me hoofing it too far. |

There are places to eat right in Union Station.

And if you like carmel corn, Nuts on Clark is right there by the rest of the food places. I fucking love that shit! Didn't there used to be a Garret' Popcorn in Union Station? I didn't see it on the list of retailers. There's a Garret's in Ogilve station just down the block http://www.garrettpopcorn.com/ |

And yes, someone posted that same pic from Portillo's the other day. Definitely on my list. |
