[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Visiting TN

I'm currently living in TX and have a Tx legal RRA 16in. AR and I'm going home to visit family in TN next month. I want to take my my AR but I'm curious if it is "legal" there. Any ideas?

Tennessee has no problems with S/A AR's and (with proper paperwork) F/A ones either.

There are a couple of us in middle Tennessee who have declared ourselves as firearms inspectors and who must take each newly arrived AR to a range for functionally evaluation, so if you get to the capitol city be prepared. Don't call us, we will know who you are... please bring a minimum of 500 rounds for proper evaluation.
