That is very cool! This is the first time I've seen that upper. How does the barrel attach? This should answer that question |

Talk to me about that grip... I picked up that ‘lightly used’ AR15 pistol grip last year ($20-shipped on the EE) it’s called the Stark® SE-1™ and IMO, the grip is an ascetically attractive (pretty cool looking) ergonomically designed, and quite a comfortable grip at that, and unlike the other aftermarket grips that I use; i.e. Hogue® OM™, Magpul® MAID™, CAA® G27™ and you can see from the images, when this Stark® SE-1™ grip mounts, it fully covers the aft trigger guard ears of the lower receiver when installed. the grip originally comes fitted with a slotted screw fastener for locking down the incorporated trigger guard; so beings that I despise slotted screws, I quickly headed over to the local hardware store, ‘Tacoma Screw Products, Inc’ and picked up an allen-wrench replacement fastener; as this is a much cleaner mounting fastener. I also met up with the guy's at the Stark Booth #20141 at SHOT, and they knew who I was, as they did a Google Search to find hits on their product name, and found this OA2.org thread that I started >>> OA2.org Post subject: The Stark® SE-1™ … AR15 Pistol Grip they also offer up a SE-2, that has the single point sling mount incorporated in the grip >>> Stark Equipment Corp.

Thats next for the pistol. I want primary and backup. I don't know if I want a red dot or holographic syte (eotech/OKO)..... decisions decisions. I've got a BOBRO quick detach in 30mm for an Aimpoint sittin the the box-o-shit. but I don't know about that being the best match. Anybody still following this thread have optics/reflex sights on their pistol builds (besides globemaster ETA: brain thought it, fingers didn't type it. |

Cabela's has a Barska copy of an Aimpoint Micro H-1/T-1 (but with a 2 MOA dot) on sale for $59.99. No Idea what the quality is like. May be a case of you get what you pay for, or it could be a great bargain. I tried the Barska M-16 version and it was a 50/50 type of thing It worked, and would usually hold zero, but always made you want something with a little more quality/options. Seem to be good for the price though Had a sightmark like the one you posted above and never had any issues with it |

how do they feel in your hand? they’re quite solid, and it’s a comfortable grip at that! and it really puts your hand in a good shooting position IMHO; and if you ever get a chance to handle one at a Gun Show? or something? … check them out for yourself. |

It was my pleasure. Grumpy taught me how to build out an AR15, so the least I could do was PIF the knowledge.

That's what I thought it was, too.
