I had this idea, use as many local manufacturers as possible. Wasn't really feasible until recently.
The parts:

What's there from local shops:
Mega WA HTF Gator Lower
Mega Monolithic Tubular Pistol Upper
Mega Tactical Trigger
Mega Billet Charging handle
Rainier Arms Inc. 7.5' Ultra Match bbl
Rainier Arms Inc. Low Profile Gas Block

What's there from elsewhere:
Young Manf. Chrome BCG
Spikes Tactical Pistol Buffer Tube
Primary Wep. Sys. CQB Compensator
Magpul Miad grip/Moe Trigger Guard
Random other innards

Some quick shots:

The Sum of the Parts:

Special thanks to the excellent staff at Rainier Arms for all the help and support.
Also throw out a +1 to C&7 for the Armory Tools, Guidance and Brain Juice (Even though it was free, it was still the Queens Brand)

Now to run her

It was my pleasure.  Grumpy taught me how to build out an AR15, so the least I could do was PIF the knowledge.

I still think that Mega Monolithic upper is sexy as hell.  I may have to get one, eventually!

I picked up that ‘lightly used’ AR15 pistol grip last year ($20-shipped on the EE) it’s called the Stark® SE-1™ and IMO, the grip is an ascetically attractive (pretty cool looking) ergonomically designed, and quite a comfortable grip at that, and unlike the other aftermarket grips that I use; i.e. Hogue® OM™, Magpul® MAID™, CAA® G27™ and you can see from the images, when this Stark® SE-1™ grip mounts, it fully covers the aft trigger guard ears of the lower receiver when installed.

the grip originally comes fitted with a slotted screw fastener for locking down the incorporated trigger guard; so beings that I despise slotted screws, I quickly headed over to the local hardware store, ‘Tacoma Screw Products, Inc’ and picked up an allen-wrench replacement fastener; as this is a much cleaner mounting fastener.

I also met up with the guy's at the Stark Booth #20141 at SHOT, and they knew who I was, as they did a Google Search to find hits on their product name, and found this OA2.org thread that I started >>> OA2.org Post subject: The Stark® SE-1™ … AR15 Pistol Grip

they also offer up a SE-2, that has the single point sling mount incorporated in the grip >>> Stark Equipment Corp.

Proprietary barrel nut and "wrench".  The wrench is a heavy mofo pipe with cuts that mate with the barrel nut.  Different, but very easy, And in a pinch that barrel wrench can be used as a weapon, no joke it's that stout.

yeah, it’s called “Dura-Chrome®” … and Olympic Arms Inc. offered dura-chrome lined barrels for 2 years, and I picked up this bolt from a senior employee (a Salesman) from Olympic-Arms Inc. in a 'Clearance Sale' a few years ago, and it to is coated in the Dura-Chrome® product.

and its not just a generic hard chrome finish either; it’s an industrial grade chrome coating that OAI. tested out on a few things; and over the years, I have picked up a couple of barrels that were coated with that industrial grade product, a 16in M4 contoured barrel, and that 11.5in. barrel that is currently mounted on the pistol config!

Edited to Add: the barrel info:

it's an 11.5" Chrome lined Olympic Arms heavy barrel.
threaded 1/2x28, 1x7 twist, with bayo lug, this is one of the rare few
Dura-Chrome® barrels Sold by Olympic back in the late 1990's and early 2000's.
the barrel is Marked "556 1x7 DCB"

What are you thinking about for sights/optics. Thats next for the pistol. I want primary and backup. I don't know if I want a red dot or holographic syte (eotech/OKO)..... decisions decisions. I've got a BOBRO quick detach in 30mm for an Aimpoint sittin the the box-o-shit. but I don't know about that being the best match.
Anybody still following this thread have optics/reflex sights on their pistol builds (besides globemaster)?

I typically just use an A2 carry-handle on this unit; or a Sightmark® Sure Shot™

and EOTech® optics work well on the pistols too!

as do these inexpensive optic … this is a Sightmark® Sure Shot™ sight, which features a large viewing area with 4 reticle types.

I tried the Barska M-16 version and it was a 50/50 type of thing

It worked, and would usually hold zero, but always made you want something with a little more quality/options. Seem to be good for the price though

Had a sightmark like the one you posted above and never had any issues with it

this is the optics combination that I now have mounted on my AR pistol, it’s a Millett® Zoom Dot™ 30mm reflex.

ZOOM DOT™

The Millett Zoom Dot™ 30mm reflex sight is a non-magnifying 1-to-1 ratio red dot illuminated aiming system that can be used in all lighting situations with one or both eyes open.
The dot size can be zoomed down to 1 MOA for a long-range accurate shot, or up to 10 MOA for super-fast target acquisition under close quarters battle, by simply turning the knob. Extensive testing on the S&W 500 mag and other high-impact weapons has proven that the ZOOM DOT is the most durable dot sight available. Its package size has been reduced, and a special mount is available for super-high-impact applications.

FEATURES:
• Optical glass lenses — parallax free, multi-layer coating
• Unlimited eye relief — dot maintains point-of-aim
• Same batteries as the M68 weapon sight — 2L76 CR1/3N lithium
• Solid state field replaceable electronics
• Waterproof to 300'
• Comparable to current battery life for the M68 weapon sight - 1000 to 10,000 hours average life
• Approx. 14cm long
• Weight: 227g
• Temp. range -45° to 70°C
• Withstands G forces beyond the levels encountered by small arm weapons (2000 Gs)
• 30mm tube
