I was at Walmart the other night...and they were updating their DROS computers. I talked to the guy that works there and he said that all of the Walmarts in Kalifornia are updating their transfer computer. That tells me they'll be selling firearms again soon...or do you think they'd be stupid enough to update everything and NOT keep selling?

They have to do those updates to keep status with state, doesn't mean they willl start selling again.

The guy at mine said that most will start selling after the first of the year.  (NO, he didn't say how lnog after.)  But the guns are still in the secure storage area.  That's what tells me they are coming back.  Why tie up the space and $$ if they are not going to be sold?

Do they sell anything worth buying?

I bought my Mini-14 better than ten years ago so what else do they sell worth buying?

PS: I hate Turners and would do business with anyone else who had something worth buying.

I am in San Diego and go to American Shooting Center in Kearny Mesa.

On Sunday I pick up my Kimber TLE/RL II from them.

I want to buy a mini from them because local shops charge way too much, I like that they can order in alot of different rifles too, their hours are alot better than the small handful of gunshops still open out here. Where else in Kalifornia can you get off work at 8pm and go buy a gun inbetween 8-11?

I got my Remington 700 ADL in 30-06 from Walmart.

But that was back in 2001.

So I called them up and asked WTF the deal was and apparently that IF they start selling again it will be a store by store choice. So if the store manager is a steaming heap of liberal shit, there will be no guns at that particular store.

Yea they're all still in the back and as far as I can remember since they stopped selling I've been getting the "free beer tomorrow" routine. Every time I go in there they say, oh yea another couple weeks, another couple weeks, I'm gettin ready to say fuck them and just take a half a day off work to go to a regular gunshop and buy my shit there.
