Going to set up a Bushie M4 16" barrel for hunting and 3-gun shoots. I want to change out the trigger from the heavier stock pull to a lighter pull. What kind of trigger do you guys like and/or have found to work well for you?

I'm on the list for the new non-adjustable gieselle or however you spell it.

Sounds like that is going to be a winner.

RRA 2-stage is 10x better than stock triggers, but I can't speak to Giselle, and the others.

Depends on how much $ you want to spend.
Probably the least costly decent trigger would be the RRA. Should be less than $100.
Check with R.B. Precision. Rob and Krista should be able to hook you up.

Appreciate the offer but I'm about 5 hours southwest of you.

A set of JP yellow reduced power springs make a big difference. It won't turn it into a match trigger, but mine work great for my fun gun. Keep the full power springs on any HD weapon, light strikes happen once in a while.

Where are you located?  I'm in Peoria durring the week.  I could have you try out my RRA 2 stage or take you up to RB Precision and have you try some of theirs out.

I'm about 2 1/2 hrs. southwest of you Bob. I appreciate the offer but I've decided on trying an RRA trigger. I put this question out to our Missouri brothers also and I found many to like the RRA trigger also. Thank you for your offer!

Well, this gun is being set up for 3 gun shoots and it will do fine for coyotes also. But I do have a Bushmaster Varminter that I use for Prairie dog hunting. It is very accurate right out of the box.

I like my RRA on my 16" offhand rifle.

On my Bushy 20" V-match I have a Jewell. It's sweet, but overkill for a non-bench rifle, IMO.

When you get yours, stone it very lightly( a few swipes on a smooth stone), and use flitz to polish.

It will be greatly improved.

Thanks for the tip, warped...I will give it a try when I install the trigger.
