I'm trying really hard to decide what AR15 to buy (I'm hopeless at making decisions). I've been looking into -
Decade MG4 A5
Southern Gun Company DPMS Classic
Sabre Defence XR15-M4A1

Does anyone have any experience of these (Good or Bad) that might be useful in making a decision ??

None of the above. Just find an AR gunsmith near you and get them to build what you want, not a compromise of what someone else is selling (or not selling in the case of Sabre!)

It doesn't matter who makes them. Gunz is gunz!!

Quality is important and so in that case it would be the SGC or Sabre over the Decade any day.

Now.....getting a rifle out of SGC or Sabre is another matter and the cost will be a little higher but you'll be pleased when you get it.

But..........why the M4 carbine version?
If you're going to get one rifle, get a 20"er.

Carbines are too limited

I have an SGC "Highpower" variant on the Classic, with a Picatinney rail that takes a scope or detachable handle/rear sight. I have been very pleased with it, it is very accurate and more importantly loads of fun to shoot in both iron and scope modes.

If you go the SGC route I would advise getting a decent trigger at the build stage. I was watching the overall budget and tried to shave a bit off and went the route of getting the SGC "tuned" trigger. It was dire, the pull weight was immense and it was as rough as a badger's arse.

A set of reduced power springs from Brownell's ($10) made a huge difference but it really does need a decent trigger to get the most out of the rifle. It seems fashionable for some people to knock SGC at every opportunity, but I found Bob OK to deal with, he was straightforward and the rifle turned up as it was supposed to be when he said it would.

SGC are not cheap, there is a comprehensive list of options and extras to choose from, most of which are off the shelf from American suppliers anyway. The parts he has made include a pretty hefty receiver with a right hand cocking handle that looks a bit agricultural but actually works very well, it is the only one that I do use although the standard AR15 centreline handle and a folding left hand one similar to an L1A1 SLR / FN FAL  are also fitted. I have no issues with build quality, although I do know of people who have had niggles.

That probably leaves you more confused than ever, but if there is any more I can contribute just get in touch.
