[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which Eotech to keep

I have 2 Eotechs, an almost new 512S (500 rounds shot w/ it) and an older 552 (been to Iraq) Which one do I keep, I want both but don't need both. What say you all?

The main difference between those two, IIRC, is that the 552 has NV capability whereas the 512 does not. I guess it boils down to whether you need the NV capability or not as to which one you keep and which one you sell.

I too own a 552 and so far haven't found a use for it. So far.

I'd personally keep the one that's been to Iraq. Bit of historical/sentimental significance to that one.

Yes, I'm capable of getting sentimental about gun accessories. This gun thing is a disease I tell you...

Duke, that is the one I was probably going to keep. I'm the same way about stuff. It wasn't in Iraq w/ me (never been), it was with the previous owner.

I agree about keeping the 'Veteran' one that was in Iraq.

As far as the other one, let us know if you put it up for sale, I have a friend that is looking for an EOtech for his new build...
