If you watch the EE you could find a nice Glock 17 or 19 for $400 with at least two mags.. the factory night sights are not worth much IMHO, at least if they are the staked in kind(which if break you are SOL and have to buy a new front). Especially when you can score a set of Meps for $70 at Brownells

Also if you might be able to get a military discount on a NEW Glock at a Glock LE dealer

Since you are .mil you should be able to get a NIB GLOCK19 for 450 with 2 mags and nightsights. Glock treats you guys pretty good.

I'd get whichever one you shoot better, and like better.

You should be able to get a hundred off a new Glock with their Homeland security pricing. Military, law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, and more.  Find an actual Glock dealer, not just someplace that is selling them and ask.

Or get yourself over here and someone can show you a couple stores for one or the other.

The Glock will double as a hand grenade.

They have that deal with 3 mags at the Marksman for Leo and Mil.

It's really hard to beat a Glock 19 for CCW.  In the last year I have finally settle down and decided a Glock 19 or two will do me fine if I ever need it.

I have two 2nd Gen Glock 19's, it's rare when I leave home without having one.

XD-9 sub is smaller, about the same size as a  Glock 26.

True, but I find my Glock 19 conceals just as well or better than my Glock 26.  To me the longer slide stabilizes the gun IWB and the longer grip is easier to get a grip on.

I have a XD 40 and love it! I shot the XD 9 today and feel the same way. Glocks are not bad but I have herd of allot of experts that switched from Glock to XD. My friend was set on glocks until he shot my XD. Now he owns the XD 9.
