| I'm looking to get a personal flashlight that I can carry in my pocket. I've found the Fenix brand of lights but have never heard of them before. Are the ok or am I wasting money? |

Try out going gear
He is a local guy that does a lot of gun shows and has some really good lights. |

Being the resident SF Fanboy the only option for me is the E1B.

I thought "Chinese crap" when I first saw the fenix brand. Then I found a deal on a tk-10, and thought, what the hell a a 200+ lumen led flashlight for 60 bucks. I love that flashlight now and am a believer and will definitely buy another fenix... I still like my surefires and streamlight, but for the money, fenix is the best deal going. |

I like the E1L I think it is by SF .... only thing that I dislike about it is the pocket clip, I wish it was reversed so the lens was facing into my pocket. E1B's have the S clip. It goes up or down. I wonder if I could buy a body and use the head and tail cap off my E1L. I really love this light I throw it in my pocket every day I put pants on. |

I bought one of these after getting a "tactical" light and a work light. Its the greatest thing since sliced bread- reversible clip, adjustable brightness, simple and reliable operation. You pre-select 2 brightness levels and then switch between those two levels by loosening or tightening the bezel. I use the light for everything- every day carry, working on the car, camping, etc. |

I've had 2 fenix flashlights.
The first I had for 2 years working on buses... it's hit the floor from the top of a bus no damage, fallen in the lift pit 10' down into 3' of oil, grease, water, diesel fuel, and waste.... got it out cleaned it off and it was still shining. Gave it to my dad and bought another this year with different modes... Won't use anything else but it! |

I second that. Get the LED version. One lives in my pocket. |

I have no direct experience with the Fenix brand, but have heard good things about them. I know most of the guys I work with carry Surefire or Pelican lights. I know that SF and Pelican have outstanding customer service on their lights. I just recently ordered and E2D Led from SF with a dozen batteries and it came to just under $150. This little light is rated at 200 lumens.
$150 may seem a bit pricey but you have to factor in customer service, durability, and the purpose of your light. PS PM Me directly regarding a SF purchase, I may be able to help you out. |

Bought the ElZetta M60 and I couldn't be happier with it. Made in the USA, good metal body, not heavy, 2 cell is small enough to fit in palm of your hand for work with a pistol, 235 lumens (new end cap allows modulation), and the Malkoff device is a great drop in go for the Surefire G2. In total, I spent $135 from Pacific Tactical Solutions (minus the new endcap, next time I'm purchasing that'll be there).
