[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which mauser?

Right now Im looking at the m27/47 and the k98. Which one is a better shooter? Im not getting this rifle for collection purposes, just for a fun shooter. As I understand, these are both large ring actions? What should I expect to pay for one? Internet prices and ads are deceiving.

And what company has the lowest price/ best quality rifles? I dont want to get the best price only to find out the rifles they sell are crap. Thanks!

i would also like to know where to get a ruscapture kar98k mauser. are these new imports any good? do the original 98k come chrome lined bore? are the imports? good average price for springfield 1903 and place? looking to spend $150-$300 for each. thanks
