Had my barrel threaded and installed with my Phantom in less than 2 hrs from Gene. Man, talk about quick and great service. Very cool, so I don't have to make another trip to pick it up. Very easy man to talk to. I also find out that he offers other services for 1911s, AK,... El_Roto was correct about Gene of Williams Gun Repair. |
Price? I'll be there Sunday. Thanks |
The folder was $39. Trunion and other parts needed are there as well, but I don't remember how much for those. Around $10 to $15 I think. |

Thanks for the kind words and it was a pleasure to meet you, MOJO. We don't always meet our net customers in the flesh as they are scattered all over the US. Gene does work on AKs. Just get your parts in order and give us a call. Since we're getting ready for some serious hunting this fall you might be interested in taming your deer rifles also. Gene been building custom breaks for your "bambi toys" and they sure do take the punch out of those boomers. |

Another Thumbs Up. Bought some after market parts and could not figure out how to get it all back together (sorry I am Glock guy). Brought my disassembled 1911 in for re-assembly, and Gene noticed and fixed two other problems I did not see. Watched and learned while he worked on it. |

Well, don't let a little distance/driving time stand in your way. MOJO just hung out while Gene took care of him and his gun. Service doesn't get any better than that. We're just a modest little gun shop with a huge talent at the helm who just happens to love solving gun problems. Yah, I know, I'm proud of Gene but just spend a little time with him and you will be convinced. If a problem can be solved he can do it. We meet the nicest people while fixing their guns. Gun folks are really the best kind. |
