Any of you folks thinking of buy an AR15 platform, you may want to give Windham Weaponry inc a look. Story I'm hearing is after Bushmaster pulled out of Maine, leaving some 70 odd skilled people out of work. Former owner worked with some folks and began a company called Windham Weaponry inc putting some 70 odd skilled people back to work. IMHO Windham Weaponry inc deserves our support. I have NO interest this company, just an American wanting to see loyalty rewarded.

From what I've seen they're still offering essentially the same guns that Bushmaster did. Meaning, 1/9, non-staked carrier and castle nuts, no HPT/MPI, etc. I'd go BCM unless they start listening to market demands and start offering things more in line with customer desires.

With so many people wanting features off "The Chart of Neverending Controversy," I think they're gonna need to step up their game.

don't know anything about what you stated. My point is that this company deserves our support. The former owner of Bushmaster has put up his $$$$ to put people who were loyal to his former company back to work. If they are not making the product you're looking for write or give them a call. Most of all give them a chance to earn your business. To many would have taken the $$$$ and said "the hell with them , I got mine that's all that matters" he did NOT. Just sayn

BCM, LaRue, Daniel Defense, Noveske, etc. are all American companies last time I checked and are turning out a far superior product. We also have many local Arizona companies turning out great product - AGP, Quentin Defense, Sun Devil Mfg, POF, etc.  Why should people blindly give support to some company they've never heard of just because it's the former owner of Bushmaster? If they want to earn their place in the AR-15 market, they should already know what they need to do to compete with the likes of these companies.  We shouldn't need to write to them and tell them

I guess this right here is evidence enough that they won't need to worry about sales.
