Anyone familiar with the Young Americans Foundation? I have an opportunity to go to the west coast conference with the campus republican club (assuming I can swing the money by tomorrow...  )Sounds like fun. Anyone gone? AARs? Any of you young?

Is it a significant amount of money? My daughters both got very hoity toity exclusive invitations to young leader's conferences (Washington DC and Texas respectively) and with a bit of research we concluded that they were not all that exclusive and about as much value as a summer camp for twice the money. Not worthless for sure but a poor value that was really meant to appeal to the vanity of us parents. If the price is reasonable your deal sounds like it would be fun. |
$60 with travel to Santa Barbara (yes, looked it up), plus hotel and meals? VERY worth it! Hell, if you really can't aford it, I'd be willing to chip in a portion of the $60. Call it, WaHTF sponsorship! Since Moxi is a bum... YAF Site Conference for "Special" kids like him!
