From YHM web site

"YHM, in cooperation with Sound Technologies, is proud to bring you the Phantom 7.62 Sound Suppression
System. The proven performance of YHM's Phantom Flash Hider eliminates 99% of muzzle flash while the
Sound Technologies baffle design (U.S. Patent #7,073,426) reduces muzzle noise by up to -32 dB. The
fast attach design (Patent Pending) allows you to permanently install the Phantom Flash Hider and then install
the Sound Suppressor without the use of tools when sound suppression is desired. Our patented Phantom
Flash Hider system holds the sound suppressor firmly in place by hand tightening and allows the sound
suppressor to be removed by hand when no longer needed. A patented gas seal keeps the threads clean so
the suppressor will not bind, making removal a breeze. The Phantom Flash hider supports the sound suppressor in
two places making misalignment nearly impossible, even if the sound suppressor is not fully tightened.

This sound suppressor is designed so that it can be used with a Phantom 5.56 mm flash hider on a 5.56 mm rifle.
This allows users to purchase one sound suppressor and use it on .30 caliber and 5.56 mm rifles.

As a measure of safety the 5.56 sound suppressor WILL NOT fit onto a 7.62 flash hider. "

Will this allow me to have 3 diff Flash hider mounts and be able yo use it on my ar-15in 5.56 and 6,8 or an ak if i had it threaded properly??

Sounds like it right?

Appears so. however, I would suspect those in the Suppressors forum would have better knowledge on it than the general WA Hometown.

What it is supposed to mean, if you buy a 30cal suppressor, you can mount it on your ar15 with the appropriate ar15 flashhider, so you can use your can on multiple rifles and calibers.

Lots of people buy the Phantom 7.62 can to use on their AR10 and their AR15.

There is a QD mount for both calibers that work on the Phantom.

Also The 7.62 Phantom is quieter that the 5.56 Phantom on a .223  rifle.

Seeing as you can use the 5.56 on the 7.62 can you run .22 through them as well?  I know that with AAC you can but I didnt see this on the YHM website.

You can, but its not a good idea. Centerfire cans are sealed units and cannot be taken apart for cleaning.
.22 rounds are filthy, so over time, you could mess up your expensive can.

It's better to buy a $200-$300 .22 can for rimfire.
