[ARCHIVED THREAD] - York ???

I'm traveling to York today for work and will probably be in town 2 or 3 days. Any good guns shops in town? Anything that I need to look for if I have a free day?

My favorite shop is Lanco Tactical which is in Elizabethtown in Lancaster co. Good group of guys in there.

They keep odd hours and are only open from 1-8. Trop gun shop is also close but the prices are inflated and they have nowhere near the knowledge of Lanco. Its still a good place to visit though. And if you are visiting Trop, Kinsey's Outdoors is like a minute away from there.

I haven't been to Kinsey's in quite awhile. As I remember they had nice selections but some things were pricey. Nice to look around though anyway.

They had some decent prices when I was there, plus they have a large selection of used guns. You can get used bushmaster AR there for under $500. Thats really not bad. Unfortunately they don't have a lot of high end AR stuff there.

Backwoods Outfitters in Columbia Pa is fairly close to York. 1 of my favorite shops in the area. I have been dealing with them for nearly 15 years. Always friendly and honest.

IIRC the last time I was there was during full blown panic buying during the last election. That might have had something to do with it.

Do you know if they have any used ARs in stock now? A guy I work with is looking for one.

I don't know if they have them now...but when I was shopping in January, they did. Lanco Tactical also sometimes has used guns in stock but they move pretty fast.
