I haven't yelled that loud or that long or drank that much in years.  That was a game for the ages.  Being on the end of that had to SUCK.  Of course we had experienced being on the other end of it too many times in recent years.

For a TIDE fan in enemy territory, it was a magical weekend. Tennessee, Auburn, and Notre Dame got beat and we smacked Arkansas in the mouth. RTR.

I know the feeling.  I live in Winder, GA, about 20 miles from the UGA campus.  I will be flauting all my Tide stuff this upcoming week.

BTW, finally they rank Bama.  No 16.

seriously, great game, AlaBama!!!  although, I'd say a 3 pt loss on the road in the SEC is not exactly an embarrasment...Nutt Dicked it up by attempting a pass...& I thought Saban did, too, with the FG...

but, as it turned out, great call, he didn't want OT with his D worn to a frazel...

3 pt loss when you're a 16th ranked team to an unranked team is embarrassing enough.

I have an uncle (UA grad, big fan) who lives in Knoxville and keeps a very nice boat there on the river...

... a white boat trimmed in crimson named "Crimson Tide" whose airhorn plays "Yea, Alabama!"  He has a ball with the "Big Orange Flotilla" on the water on football weekends up there.

The true answer to this is they liked the Daisies that grew on their field many years ago and picked that color to commemorate them.

Yep,  I've got this sneaking suspicion that LSU is gonna steamroll just about everybody this year.

Anyway, it better be a good game at least.  I'm making special effort to go over and see it.

There is a website where I got my Alabama stickers, etc (eRollTide, I think), that has shirts printed up the next day after a game.

Knowing that Bama is gonna win, I will be ordering one of those ASAP and will be displaying it around Athens and Winder.  The Trembling Chihuahua fans are gonna be foamin' at the mouth.

Word to the wise, and others can listen as well: I'm not going to invite feet to my mouth by making predictions.  It is utterly foolish to assume anything in the SEC, or college football in general, but especially here.

what a comeback for AL.

But in the end, when all is done, in the fullness of time, again it is shown that Georgia rules.

Well, that's okay.  However, I can take comfort in the fact that, once again, a Stever Spurrier team beat the chihuahuas and a former Steve Spurrier team will once again beat them in Jacksonville later this season.

Yeah, congrats on the game...............but I would save that "ruling" stuff..........you still have UF and UK to play...........I hate it that we lost, and it was a great game. With a little better defense( which will take time with recruiting to fill the missteps that Shula made) things will be much different...........
