Anyone has any? I need some for this build. Located in Springdale

Quoted:
I just used grease with some built in anti seize from the local auto parts store. I believe that Bushmaster used lithium on the upper I sent them to have assembled years ago. As long as it doesn't contain graphite. That's the stuff you do not want in anti-seize. |

I never knew I needed grease till today when I was installing the new forearm and reading the instruction. I started researching and that's when I found out why I need it and why not to use the other type of Molly grease with graphite. Better safe than sorry so I order some from umbrella |
I got lucky and scored a lifetime's worth (1 tube ) off amazon for cheap here awhile back.
Before that I was using a little tub of it I got from Bushmaster, IIRC. Turns out, it had graphite in it.
I haven't taken anything apart that I used it on so I don't know how its doing. The uppers are still together and firing so its obviously not a 0-5 year problem. |

I just put together 3 rifles using automotive anti-sieze...after reading I found out it has graphite in it. Are my rifles going to melt? I ordered a tube of 33ms so I can tear them down and clean/reapply, but I am really not looking forward to tearing those troy rails down again. |

Extreme worst case is that the threads from the barrel nut gall up and there is a chanced that the graphite can react with bare aluminum causing it to corrode and fall apart over time. Unless I noticed something going wrong I would just leave it and keep a close eye on it until a day when I had lots of time to kill. Then make sure to use the lube for any future builds. |
