a trip thru west Texas is on the list in 2 years, spring time or fall. waiting for grandkids to get old enough as
grandma sits week days..

Small enough to be what I consider comfortable.

Big enough to get the supplies you need.

I'd love to someday give up the busy life and just run some small FFL/gunshop there and just enjoy every day.

Was passing through there on Christmas day. Sidewalks were pretty much rolled up, but I still dig the place. Grabbed fuel and beer, then headed for Terlingua. 5 days in Big Bend NP were fun.

Someday I'll be in Alpine when the local brewery is doing tours.
