I don't want to buy on the interweb, so where do I get good ammo locally to feed my AR? |
|
If you're going to buy bulk, it's worth it to buy online. There are plenty of reputable dealers, so don't be afraid of getting scammed. Otherwise, bulk offline is available at some gunshows. I bought 1000 rounds from a gunshow from BrassKingsAmmo that manufacture their own ammo locally(new ammo, not reloads). They have a website, google it. Every round went bang, no probs. About 185 for 1000 I think it was. |

Yep, found it. http://www.brasskingsammoii.com/ They don't seem to have it listed on their site, but give em a call and see. Or maybe you'll see them at a gun show. Like I said, it's their own ammo. But it was clean, went bang everytime, and if it's just for plinking I don't see a reason not to if you can't find a better price. Not saying it's bad for other than plinking, because that's all I do so I really don't the purpose of the other types of ammo. |
