guess what, a jury summons just turned up,start date 3 days before the civilian service rifle comps,the most inportant comp in my calender,for f*cks sake, i've just asked for a deferrment,what is the betting they'll say shooting comp !...........bollocks, REFUSED, ...............................phil .

I expect you've already paid all your entry fees and booked your accommodation, put the dog in kennels, etc.................... |
if you are on a trial that is expected to last four or five days go to the first day or two and then tell a court official that you think that you know the accused 
you would be removed from the court and hopefully all the other cases will all ready have enough people on the jury
never know it might work
