Any of you guys in Cobb/Paulding area work on computers? I fixed the wife's laptop myself last year, but I think that this time I want to get a second opinion.

In West Cobb, close to the PC line. Intersection of Due West, Kennesaw Due West, and Acworth Due West is a place called Computer Chick.
They do great work and the lady there is very nice. Prices seemed reasonable. My dad used her when his hard drive crashed to get the data back.

I am downtown but will be returning a machine to a client in Marietta Monday or Tuesday if you would like me to swing by and take a look. Shoot me a PM with the symptoms and contact info

Edit: I literally just got an email from them so I may be up there tomorrow too

Thanks, guys. I am going to try and do this on my own. I am pretty sure it is the LCD cable. I am trying to fix an older Acer laptop that I have for my 9 year old.daughter. I had already replaced the LCD inverter about a year ago and it is acting up pretty bad again. It may have been the cable, all along.
