Who was it that had said they've ordered from them in the past? I specifically remember someone mentioning how long delivery took...but can't remember who.

I placed an order a little over a month ago and it's been sitting at preparing shipment for 3 weeks. I expected it to take long seeing as how they operate but really how long should I expect this shit to take. It's 2 damn cree bulbs at $7.60 a piece.

What was the estimated ship time when you ordered?  Most of the things I order ship in 7-10 days and then it's usually 2-3 full weeks for transit.  Sometimes, I've gotten stuff 2 weeks after ordering.  Most recently, it took 4 weeks from order date.  What you are describing seems a tad long, even for them, I wonder if the part was out of stock.

I've found that forgetting about the order entirely is the best way to approach ordering from DealExtreme.  It may take months, but it does eventually get here.

Mine took 8 weeks, even with expedited shipping. I wouldn't do it again.

I always paid for EMS so they would ship stuff more quickly and reliably.  The upgrade was never much more and greatly increased the chances of receiving everything with fewer damaged items.  It was still in a Tyvek bag with no padding though.

Make sure you order three times as many of the items that you want so you have a higher chance of one actually working.

I had a light meter from them that was a fun experience.  It started smoking and got extremely hot after I put batteries in it and went to the bathroom.  Luckily, it wasn't a deuce, so I was back in the smoke filled room fairly quickly.  I picked it up to chuck it out the door, dropped it immediately, and the batteries popped out when it hit the ground.  It took a few days for the smell of melted plastic to go away.  And yes, I was using the correct batteries and they were inserted correctly.

I will say that the cheap digital calipers they sell are awesome.  I have a few that have been going strong for years with no issues.

Just reordered. Took a gamble last time on a holster for a Surefire LED light - fit better than the factory one so ordered more. Got several smaller ones that may fit a G2 but sold all those lights.

I ordered in February and still waiting on the second half of my order.  the first half got here two weeks ago.

The item I am waiting on says it is an invalid SKU now and is nowhere to be found on the site.  Not sure what the deal with them is right now.

Up until this year, most orders took a month.
