Very nice. Any trouble swapping barrels?
Need to get mine set up this weekend. I've had it for about a fortnight now (at last) but havn't had the time to play with it.
I see what you mean about needing the dvd to help set it up as there seem to be far too many choices on cant/sling lenght/handstop position/ stock length / cast/ height etc.
Still, thats all part of the fun..........he

Wow, thats a smart looking piece of kit.

Is it a 'traditional bolt action' as opposed to a straightpull action ?

Did you import it yourself ? ?

Any other details ? ? ? (me being nosey )

Cheers

Out of curiosity are the original Tubbs rifles semi auto or single shot?

The Tubb 2000 is a dedicated bolt action rifle.
Although it looks visually similar to an AR15, that's where the similarities end.
They are designed by David Tubb, 9 times US national Highpower champion, Built by McMillan rifles and sold by Creedmoor Sports in California.
We now have 3 in the club.

They are one of the best rifle's out there and the only truely modern Bolt Action.

The barrel was shortened, crowned and threaded for the muzzle brake by Mark, not bad job seeing he say's he used a hacksaw.

I did use a file too you know, but just to clean the burr off

Very impresive weapon, and the shooting is even more impresive.

I must admitt, when I saw the title of the post, I thought that HMG were having another round of cut back's, and they were shortening the sub's.

I like the rig and what it does to target's, I'll bet the range nazi's get all excited untill they have a closer inspection of the system.

Has anyone any link's for the supplier or maker? Not going to buy one, just going to see what I could buy if I won the lottery.

Takes 15 mins to change barrels back, possibly going to use the .308 for Service Rifle.  The 6XC barrel will be for Highpower with open iron sights and I'll pop a scope on it for the 1000 yard snaps and McQueens on the 8th of October.

This is a 6XC 10 shot group fired from a bipod, the one out to the left I called as a bad shot.

This is a very interesting rifle I've not heard about before. I'm no seasoned shooter so yea my head is in the sand a bit.

That group of shots...what distance?

What's the going rate for a basic/standard version of this rifle...and is it a case of importing it yourself with alll the curfuffle.

Hey I'm not in the market for one i'm just interested.
