[ARCHIVED THREAD] - gettin some threads

hello I am in the norht east of arkansas near to Mammoth Spring AR..
where is there a gunsmith who will put some threads on my ar barrel.
I went to my local fud shop and he would not do it. he would not even touch the barrel.
said he only worked on hunting rifles not them things.
I dont want to mail it I want to walk in and have it done while I read the paper.

Having it done while you wait is unreasonable. Plus, you'll be there a while if the job is set up correctly.

I understand the wait. I do not trust people who ship stuff. where I am things disapear
so I dont mind waiting.

Don at Ozark armory has done these kind of things in the past, He's in Lincoln Mo, I assume you're talking AR? I'm sure If you wanted to make an appointment and then the drive he would accomidate you.
