Time to kick some bears ass!
Hoping for an embarassment but it seems like they always give up a few easy scores towards the end of a blowout to make it look like a closer game ex. Last week. |

What a fucking joke. From the best quarterback in the league to the worst... Seneca Wallace is absolutely terrible. McCarthy best be on the horn with Matt Flynn right now. Well didnt help the defense couldnt stop the offense. This. Good fucking grief. |
ESPN says (posted at 8:23am, 11-5) that A-Rod has a "slight" fracture of his collarbone, and could be out 3 weeks. More tests (MRI) will be done today. McCarthy will have a press conferance at 4:45pm today.

Fuck Favre. Like I said, the only one worth a shit that knows this offense is Matt Flynn. I was at the game last night but still had a good time. Perhaps it was the IPA's but that's how it rolls sometimes in the NFL. That being said, Flynn has an ongoing issue with his throwing arm and most likely won't come back to GB. |

I to was at the game Monday night. Season ticket holder. Injuries are part of the game and lord knows Seneca Wallace did not look good; but, he will get all of the snaps this week in practice so lets see what he can do when he is "the guy" before we throw him under the bus entirely.
The other thing that came to mind is how spoiled Packer fans have been with exceptional qb play for soooooooooooooo long! Top 5 qb's are not sitting on benches in the NFL and when you lose a qb that is in that category you WILL have a drop off no matter who comes off the bench. Others will need to elevate their play as well to help get the team through until Rodgers is back. |

Packers at Giants Sunday night game has been pulled from "primetime" and moved to 3:30pm on Fox. I guess the NFL / NBC figured this Sunday night game would be a ratings stinker, with the very bad Giants vs the Rodgers-less Packers. |

No surprise.... Matt Flynn is back in green & gold. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/231497631.html |

They are down to their "practice squad" QB as the starter. If there was a better ooption on the streets, that player would have been signed last week.
This defense NEEDS to be able to stop some one and produce some takeaways. Tolzein had a few mistakes, to be expected, but did a better job then Wallace did when put into a bad situation. That was encouraging. |

That was encouraging. The offense is a complicated thing to learn, on any NFL team. Tolzien & Wallace have had a few months to learn it, and they're still not 100%. As far as a better option on the streets, they'd need someone already with a head start on learning their offense, otherwise they might as well give the jobn to John Kuhn, because by the time a noob learned it, either Rodgers will be back or the season will be over. Those with the knowledge of the offense who can step in quickly, and somewhat run it (other than Tolzien & Wallace) is a short list... Graham Harrell, BJ Coleman, Vince Young, and Matt Flynn. There's your choices. From those 4, I'd take Flynn. Or.... sign Tim Tebow and let him run the ball and 'pray' the Pack to victory. Agreed on the defense. Speaking of defense, where is Worthy? He's probably the best pass rushing interior lineman they've got, other than Daniels. IMO, Capers' days (and the 3-4 defense) are numbered. I'm so fricken sick of him rushing 3 and dropping 8 on 3rd & long... giving the opposing QB half an hour to find the open guy. Also, I think it's time for Tramon to take a seat and let Hyde & House get the starts.

I was impressed by Tolzien, who unexpectedly entered the first pro game of his career with no reps with 1st team offense. I remember Tolzien's Badger days, he was very good... but I did not remember this:
"Tolzien, after being named a finalist for the 2010 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award along with Andy Dalton of TCU, Colin Kaepernick of Nevada, Christian Ponder of Florida State and Ricky Stanzi of Iowa,[2] won the award." http://www.uwbadgers.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/120610aad.html. Other winners of the award include - Rodney Peete, Peyton Manning, David Carr, Carson Palmer, Eli Manning, Matt Ryan, & Andrew Luck. That's pretty good company. No guarentee of greatness, however.... as some other winners of note are - Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn, Graham Harrell, Colt McCoy.
