Conservative? Good luck finding one of those; they're extinct. If not extinct, at least high on the critically endangered list.
There's no difference between the D's and the R's any more, they are all just different shades of liberal. If Kasich, DeWine, Voinovich and Taft are the face of the Republican party today, well, fuck me running, I must be a democrat! I'm tired of supporting people because of the letter after their name on the ballot, only to have them stab me in the back first chance they get. I'm not going to vote for a party any more. I will only support those who earn my support. Sorry, John/Mike/George/Bob, that's not you. |

Strickland's running mate is an F. That kind of tells me how important the 2nd Amendment is to him. What was the last pro- gun legislation kasich voted for? I voted for the guy, but let's not make him into something he's not. It seems to me that when Kasich is elected, and I think he will be, the BFA will have to go to work on him. Along with all of us. He's already backpedalled on his prior stand on the issue, he's not an anti-gun fanatic, he needs to realize that he'll be in and out quickly if his B doesn't go to an A. |

Remember that the NRA's "B" is a gift. Kasich's voting record is abhorrent. Our work will be cut out for us, especially since he'll KNOW that the gun lobby didn't cost him the election and he'll probably take that to mean he won't have to pander to them in the next election, either. A Kasich win isn't much of a win for us. |
