I have a 320 gallon tank I need to move from 2 flat dollies on the floor on to a stand I made for it.

It weighs just under 800lbs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rent a big engine hoist.  You can tow one from one of the equipment rental places.

I dont think a hoist  would fit thru the door and the tank is glass.
I'm off 7th ave and bell,Im planning this on Saturday.

The tank is big, measures out at 84"x30x30 its 3/4 glass with an 1 1/2 bottom.

its on my dining room floor next to the stand.

And to make it even harder the stand is 36" high.

Planning on buying beer and pizza.

Harbor freight sells this Gantry:

Since you may only need it once, maybe rent one from a tool rental place?
Maybe they'll throw in a chainfall & some nylon rigging straps too.

That's a lot of weight if you plan on filling it, it better be a good stand, and floor.

Roughly 4800lbs

You'd be amazed at the store bought stands.

For a 300 they are made out of 3/4" plywood with a chintzy 1x2 frame.

Aquarium I take it?  Yeah home built 2x4 stands are way beefier than store stands.  It's amazing what 3/4 plywood or MDF can hold up when oriented vertically

Wow, yeah I think that could hold at least three times that amount of water  Is this going to be fresh, salt or reef?  I had a 90 gal. reef that I miss, but I don't miss the maintenance.  My ex managed to kill a couple corals that nuked the tank while I was out of the country for work  That was the end of pretty much all my aquariums.  Sadly, I'm busy this weekend and you're way outside my AO .  Come on you guys near the 17, help him out.  Glass aquariums don't generally react well to hoists and chains and shit.  This has to be done by several big dudes lifting it by hand.

I'm moving my 180 reef into this. It's been a buttload of work just to get the old tank torn down.

Niiice, 300 will be a really good sized reef.  I expect pics of the new one

And just to play fair, some pics of my 90gal reef before its early demise:

I had some new rock in there that was slowly building up coraline algae - hence the white rock you will see in some of the pics.  I miss the clown fish the most.  Talk about fish with personality

That clam is sweet.

Wish my clowns would host but they just hang out by the front of the tank begging for food.lol

haha, mine did the same thing.  Nobody who hasn't owned clowns ever believes me that they have personality.  Mine would follow me all over the place, play with me when I would put my hands in the tank, beg for food, defend their anemones, etc.  They are quite entertaining for fish

Yeah.  Asshole.

Seriously, it worked out fine.  It really wasn't that heavy with all of us lifting.  We all stood around for a while trying to work up the courage to do it, I think, but when we finally did it, it took maybe 30 seconds.

Pics of the monster!  You drilling this sucker I would assume?  How big is the sump?  Running a single or dual protein skimmers?  My reeftek was the best purchase I ever made for my reef.  tank.  I wanna see build pics in this thread as you get it together.  Since I no longer have the time nor $$$ to invest in a reef tank, I must live vicariously through you

Nice, LED's were just coming into style as I was getting rid of all my stuff.  I ran T5's for all my corals and was very happy with the results, but I didn't have a super deep tank to contend with.

I'd want more rock, but that's just me.  I like the shittons of rock look  The fish probably prefer it more open I'm sure, especially if you have any tangs.

Niiice.  I had a purple tang that I bought and had to isolate and nurse back to health when he came down with ick about 2 days after I bought him.  Pet shop would have exchanged him, but I knew he'd just die if I took him back.  But he came back strong
