My father just got off the emergency operating room table.  It looks like he's going to be ok.  He went in for a moderately invasion biopsy and everything looked fine after that procedure until blood starting pouring out of his drains and they took him into surgery.  He has artificially thinned blood to work with his artificial heart
valve which makes any procedure tricky.

On this Father's Day eve, please say a thought or prayer for my father, Robert in Flagstaff, AZ, if you are so inclined.  Thank you.

Got to watch out for those thickeners and thinners. We lost my grandpa about 7 years ago when he was in the hospital for complications after a routine shoulder surgery.  He was on thinners for years after several heart attacks and they were running clotting agents trying to get a vessel in his arm to stop bleeding. The nurses overseeing him weren't watching his machines like they were supposed to and he developed a clot and died within hours of when he was supposed to be released. Watch over your dad like a hawk while he is under the "care" of hospital staff. Give him a hug for me, and tell him happy fathers day.

But a certain lawsuit made their staff perk up a bit, if I remember correctly. Still, watch over him.

The mere threat of a lawsuit was all it took and the hospital screamed settle.

Hope your dad had a fantastic fathers day OP.
