Does anyone know who makes this type of muzzle brake and is it UK legal. It has a Flaming pig logo on one side and a Cross type logo on the other

Why would you want to screw a spark plug socket to the end of your rifle?

I'd not recommend it.  About like cleaning the booster on a 1919 or an MG42, which is to say miserable.  There's better alternatives that require a LOT less maintenance.

It reminded me of something else and it's just come to me (apart from a bit of leftover pipe), it's the wire cutter that comes on the muzzle of one of the more recent tactical shotguns, although the name escapes me for the moment (not really a shotgun person)

Do you mean one of these, a Rebar Cutter for an M16 or similar:

Not much call for them over here
