Does anyone have some upper build tools they could let me borrow for an afternoon in about two months? I'm in the Eau Claire area and would love to meet some fellow arfcommers. I don't drink but I'd be up for bring some beer.
I got some of my parts in and this is what I would like to do.. Pin a low pro gas block (the barrel is already dimpled so I would like to put it on then test fire the upper. If it runs then I would like to pin it. I realize this is pretty difficult and might be something I do at a future date) Install a free float rail. I haven't decided what one yet. I really like Troy due to ease of installation. Considering all this I think I need 1. torque wrench 2. barrel nut wrench 3. Vice Although pinning isn't necessary it would be really nice if I could do this. I think I will need... 4. drill press 5. gas block pin jig I do have a upper receiver vice blocks WOW I'm really surprised how many people are willing to help out. I'll see if I can post some pictures when I get this thing all done. |
