now that we've had glock talk, tacos, rattlesnakes, and chupacabras (but no mountain lion or big foot chatter, slackers), its time for me to go through the concealed carry process. i imagine most of the info is the same from class to class, but who teaches a good class? obviously h&h offers one, as does big boys guns and ammo. i always leave h&h aggravated for one reason or another (prices way too high, long wait, poor range lighting, staff with sticks up their hind ends, etc). do the finger prints have to come from the sheriff's office or can my state trooper buddy do it?
eta: i'm located in moore so anywhere within an hour is ok. |

Your local sheriff has to do it as there is a local background check component as well. Initial applications must be submitted though the local SO for this reason and printing is part of the package. They have two weeks to complete this.
ETA: It is on their site too. They are helpful and pretty good about answering questions if you have something technical you're wanting to know. http://www.ok.gov/osbi/Handgun_Licensing/How_to_apply_as_a_first_time_license_holder_or_expired_renewal.html Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
