guys i think someone should setup another shoot i feel like i really missed out cause i didnt make it to the last 1 id like to comeout and meet some of you guys im also gonna have 3-4 new aks to try out real soon got krink yugo uf and couple of 74's that need to played with |

You mean the 52nd state (after Puerto Rico, you know)? I unfortunately don't know anyone with lots of property local. So I'm no help. And yes Patty, the more cleavage we have at shoots the better. Kind of a sausage fest anyway. I will personally be out on vacation over the east side of Cascades through Bend, Crater Lake, and K-Falls this weekend. And pick up my new Yugo M-77/M-90 in Bonanza. The following weekend is Practcal Rifle at TCGC that I might take a look at (3-gun this time). I gotta get my Saiga-12 working better. |
+1 For EAST!!!!!!! Plenty of room in the desert.....Bend seems a Neutral location, sure we could round up some area around there.....HOPEFULLY. |
| If not Bend, I know of a great big,open red rock pit just a few miles up 138 from the intersection of 97. I think the Forest Service owns it, still have a few connections to the local SO, might just have to get a permit or something. Lots of camping to be had up at Diamond Lake, or above Chemult at Lapine state park, up at Miller Lake.........do you want me to continue? |

Was 2 and a half hours away from the last one.. and Bend would be like.. 3 and a half hours away... Woulda drove up for the June shoot, but everyone I was gonna go with backed out. No offense to all of you, just didnt feel like driving 2 and a half hours away into territory I'm not framiliar with meeting people I've never met, with all my toys...alone

Browns camp is 240miles round trip for me. Tough drive, but well worth it. The trip home was about 4 hours with the traffic and two wrecks. CH |
hmmmm..........let me see this a lil better.......I'm gonna drive up from the southern end of the state to the Northern end of the state.......then half way to the coast? And you are proud that it was 240miles round trip? I might as well be driving up to Portland to watch the 4A state Football playoffs........WITH 2 SOUTHER OREGON TEAMS PLAYING, AGAIN. |
Lighten up francis, you said 2.5 hours, just about what I drive one way as well. It could be 4 hours one way and it would still be worth it. CH |

I would go to bend for one. I am not sure you would get a better turnout though as I know that a large chunk of the people that showed this last time were from the PDX metro and surrounding burbs. Still would be a good chance to meet thouse that cant make the browns camp shoots. It really doesnt matter to me were we go as long as I have GPS cords and a full tank of gas. CH |
+1 whoa....hold on a minute, we acutally agreed on something????? I'm not stuck on Bend, heck, Salem area would work too, I was just hoping that if we went closer to Patty, she might show up!!!!!
