Telephone (860) 685-8290 Email: Special Licensing and Firearms Somewhere someone listed a specific person and her phone number to call but I cannot find it off hand. Just be patient you will eventually get your AW paperwork back. It was running about 2 months prior to Dec but seems to be taking three months now. Others claim they've been told DESPP/SLFU that it could run four or five months if you waited until the end of December to file. |

does that mean I cant take weapon to range? The fact that you sent in your forms, SHOULD put you in the clear, because you did your part by notifying the state, its not your fault that they havent sent them back to you....and there are plenty of guys here that are going to the range without having received their papers back. If you do this, you should at least have the copies that you made of your forms before sending them in. This way if your stopped, this is something to show that you complied. Me, I waited until I got my CERTS back. YMMV |

Is there anything in SB1160 requiring you to carry a copy of your AW cert? I don't believe there is. Quoted:

| Go ahead and enjoy your firearms, feels good to send some rounds downrange after all this bs. (even though it's been pretty frick'n chilly) I called the SLFU about a month ago, was told after being put on hold not to worry, if you have copies wouldn't hurt to bring them but if you filed nothing to worry about. |
