Quoted:
The Fort Stewart Range off of 144 is only $5. Its about as good as any of the public ranges... We could all go to Hooters afterwards or something I didn't think non .mil could use it? I hunt therealot and they said I couldn't use it......may have changed rules. If I needed to sight in a rifle, I just logged into an area and put up a target.

I see civilians there every once in a while. They have never asked me for a military ID, just my drivers license. I'm sure someone could find the number on the MWR page and call Fort Stewart Pass and permit and find out. Hell, I'm sure I am allowed to bring friends if not
The only "good" range I know of is Cool Acres north of 16, but I am usually to busy to make the drive over there. |

Checking out http://patricksuniforms.com/gunrange.php gun range tomorrow around 1pm if anybody else wants to join.
Pretty fancy looking place. |
