I think I may know the answer, but just wanted other thoughts. I go to Athens Tech and was wondering if a weapon can even be in my vehicle as I attend class. I know it is a no no to carry in the building, and I think it is also illegal to carry in your vehicle on their property unless picking someone up.

When I lived in WI, the term "school zone" only referred to schools teaching 1-12th grade, so I just want to be sure on this.

That's a big no on having a weapon on school grounds if you are a student there.

If you are a student, then No. There have been students arrested for having a knife visible in their car.
