I'm out of town - dying to check it out though - maybe next time.

I'd love to go, but I killed my back on Tuesday and I look like a walking question mark. I'll have to see how I feel Saturday. I need to try the Eotech at a range farther than 25 yards!

Damn, I registered for a CNC milling course at the community college, so I can't make it that day.  On the upside, in three weeks I should know the basics of programming and running a CNC mill.

I'm in, Scott.

Last fall I met you up there, but arrived late, and everyone was already firing so I missed the introductions, and I felt a little akward.  Sorry about that.

Can we try it again?  Weather looks to be rather nice for Sat!

I was there that day last fall too. I liked it so much I joined. Thanks Marksman.

If you guys go I should mention that there is no more bumpfiring at the 100 yard / pistol range. You have to go over to the 25 meter range by the block house for that type of action.

There is a problem at the 100 yard with ricochets skipping off the deck, missing the sand and bouncing over the berm. You really have to elevate your close targets to keep the rounds in the sand over there. ( bring cardboard and a screwgun for fixing stands)

Maybe I'll see you there.

I noticed that, racecar.

Not just bumpfiring, but low ground level type target stand placements were ricocheting off the ground, skipping off of the top of the first berm, tapping the upper portion of the large berm, and continuing into an unknown to me location.  I'm not sure what is behind the large berm, but I saw at least 25+ shots going over the large berm.  I thought about saying something, and perhaps I should have, but not being my range, I wasn't sure what was behind it.

I'm looking forward to shooting tomorrow if it's a go, and I am considering becoming a member, (I live in Lake Co.) but I'm not sure what's involved.  Maybe you guys could fill me in?

Well, it pretty much all depends on weather...apparantly it looked like there was some rain up there.  Unfortunately my car really does not like mud, and its quite a hike to get back into the range.

IM me if you are still interested tomorrow and I will get out my cell number to see if we can make this happen.

Plan on 2-3pm at the earliest for shootin.  I'd like to avoid the intense sun, and hopefully by then temps will go down a bit and the ground will have more of a chance to dry out.

Scott

Also- please let me know if you are a member (to RCLRC) or not when you IM me.

Sorry I won't make it today.

I would love to go but I'm a day and a half into a semi-decent cold/flu thing.
