anyone know what size shot that would be ?

3 dram load (~1,200fps)
1oz shot
#5 shot size usually used for larger upland brids like pheasants, or critters like rabbits, just a wee bit larger than #6 shot.

THANKS !

They are about 25 to 30 years old but I think they should still go bang.  I was hoping that they were more suitable for clays, but I did get them for nothing, lol !

Someone gave me some old paper US Marine Corps marked 12 ga shells from the 1950's. They must have been stored in a high humidity area or got wet at some time because they smelled musty. Most of them went bang with only a few squib loads.

I bought a few boxes of WW2 .45 from S and G and fired them from my Springfield 1911.
Yep, cleaned it VERY well as I suspected that they were corrosive.  All went bang, although 3 or 4 needed a second strike.  And accuracy was as good as Wolf .45.
